The Hikmicro AD21 acoustic leak detector uses advanced sound processing techniques to detect sound waves from water leaks. These sound waves are converted into sounds and numbers that are heard by the human ear. Read more.
The HIKMICRO AD21 acoustic leak detector is an advanced, high-performance instrument designed for technicians and plumbers to detect leaks in pipes, water systems, and both residential and commercial buildings. The device uses advanced sound processing techniques to capture sound waves from water leaks, which are then converted into audible sounds and measurable values.
With four selectable digital bandpass filters and a gain of up to 80 dB, the AD21 provides precise filtering and amplification of sound frequencies, making it easy to locate leak points. The system uses the propagation characteristics of sound waves and shock waves: when water flows through a leak point, specific sound waves and shock waves are produced, which are received and analyzed by the detector to determine the location of the leak.
The AD21 is versatile with both a handheld sensor and a pick-up sensor, which makes it possible to detect even difficult to detect leaks. This helps to reduce raw material waste and loss, and ensures efficient detection of leaks in pipes and systems.
